I love Snow!
So we got about 6 inches of snow over the last 24 hours. Normally that means nasty roads and much longer commute. Today was no different, but i had a smile on my face the whole ride into work. I brought my snowshoes in with me and decided to go over to a nature preserve over lunch. What a wonderful plan it turned out to be! Spring Valley isn’t overly large, but when you are snowshoeing over lunch its plenty. I was lucky enough to scare two deer out of their hiding spot in the tall prairie grass as I explored.
